Client Question

“What could Andrew Coaching and Principled Leadership do to help us with our Employee Engagement scores?”

AC Response

Andrew Coaching utilizes a specific process to continually engage every employee -- all the way to the front line, in order to maximize productivity and performance.

This recently opened manufacturing plant had the lowest employee engagement scores among all of the plants in operation for a major Fortune 200 company. A median benchmark score for employee engagement was 70% and this plant had just registered 58%. The best case outcome management requested was for scores to rise to 70%.

Andrew Coaching trained primary plant management on Principled Leadership and coached these leaders individually and in teams to employ The Coaching Model in leading each of their teams. These leaders began utilizing The Coaching Model to systematically involve their employees in business decisions, and consistently provide opportunities for accountability and feedback. This focused approach to leadership and management resulted in employee engagement scores jumping to 80% from 58%, a 38% improvement.

“It's been a year since our initial launch of Principled Leadership, and as I look back, I've seen significant improvement in our overall scorecard. We have 4 top tier metrics: People, Quality, Velocity and Cost. We've seen a 64% improvement in People (Safety), a 30% improvement in Quality (Defects per Unit), a 94% improvement in Velocity (Inventory Turns), and a 28% improvement in Cost (Variable Labor & Burden). Andrew Coaching and their Pathways to Principled Leadership were a big part of our success. I can attest that Principled Leadership brought Bottom-Line Results to our facility."
